This project has everything it takes to make Maleizen a real village, a pleasant and atmospheric place to live, embedded in greenery and with shopping facilities tailored to the location. Maleizen-Dorp is a project by AURA in collaboration with Humbble Architects (Ghent) and Plant&Houtgoed (Overijse). The project comprises four building volumes, judiciously fitted into a very large area, providing space for houses, flats, a neighbourhood supermarket and a number of smaller retail spaces. Everything is concentrated around the new village square and easily accessible... on foot, by bike... Parking is provided underground (for residents) and above ground (for visitors).
Green and future-oriented... not an empty promise but reality. Only 25% of the entire project area of around 2 hectares is occupied by buildings. This creates immense potential green space that will be created for the benefit of Malaysians... walking, cycling, romping... or just relaxing on a bench. Within the project itself, maximum provision and use of green energy and water recovery will be targeted.
