Collective neighborhood heating network
Heating for Benedicte's buildings comes from a collective heat grid managed by neighborhood energy cooperative ZuidtrAnt- Warmte. The system of a heat grid is similar to a central heating system, but at the level of an entire neighborhood. It is an underground circulating pipeline that brings heat (or cooling) from a heat source to customers. In Benedicte's case, that heat source is its own BEO field.
