Axel and Dick Vervoordt ensured the sustainable reintegration of this former liqueur distillery. Today, you will find 3 types of living units here, designed by a select team of top architects: newly built Cubes (BOGDAN & VAN BROECK), Warehouses (Coussée & Goris) and Silos of the old malt factory (Stéphane Beel). The galleries, offices and restaurant on the site complete the unique living experience.
Arch. Stéphane Beel transformed the historic silos into super-deluxe residences. Arch. Arjaan De Feyter was responsible for the design of this hull loft, with round shapes as irresistible eye-catchers. Fitted wardrobes and guest toilet behind the wooden wall, just like the children's room with super cool built-in bunk bed and bathroom.
The corridor - with canal views - leads to the sitting area, where the round shapes are accentuated by indirect ceiling lighting and custom-made sofa, carpet and curtains. Canal views are also enjoyed in the sun-drenched kitchen with large travertine island, lovely long table and beautifully concealed appliances. With the windows fully open, you bring the outside in even more. Super cosy bedroom with built-in cupboards in burnt ash wood, lots of storage space and an adjoining magnificent bathroom with walk-in shower, which could be converted into a hammam. Car parking space available.
