A Bit of History: The printing workshops gradually moved to a new location outside the city, leaving the old premises abandoned. Acquired by the City of Tournai, the buildings were converted into offices and private apartments, and the former paper depot housed the State Archives in Tournai. In 2009 and 2010, the Casterman house deposited 1,728 meters of documents there, including: 15,000 photos of the company, an extensive photographic documentation, and a copy of every work published by Casterman between 1789 and 1991.
